Zhuang is responsible for work related to Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao affairs, science and technology, industry and information, culture and tourism, convention and exhibition, foreign affairs and work relevant to Torch Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

 

Zhuang oversees Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Foreign Affairs Office, BRICS Office, Convention and Exhibition Bureau, Administrative Committee of Torch Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, and Administrative Committee of Gulangyu-Wanshishan Scenic Area.

 

Zhuang is in charge of liaison with the CPPCC Xiamen Municipal Committee, Publicity Department of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, United Front Work Department of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee (Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Xiamen Municipal Government), Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Work Office of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, Xiamen Federation of Industry and Commerce (Xiamen Chamber of Commerce), Xiamen Association for Science and Technology, scientific research institutions, Federation of Social Science Circles, Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Federation of Taiwan Compatriots, Federation of Kinmen Compatriots, Xiamen People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Committee of Jimei Schools, Xiamen Municipal Committee of all Democratic Parties, Administrative Committee of Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Xiamen Communications Administration, Xiamen Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Radio Management, Xiamen Special Communication Bureau, China Tobacco Fujian Industrial Corporation, communication operators, and Haicang District (Administrative Committee of Haicang Taiwan Investment Zone).
