Chen Yuhuang Vice Mayor
Chen Yuhuang, male, Han nationality, born in Aug. 1969, member of the Communist Party of China, holds a bachelor's degree in arts. He currently serves as member of the Party Leadership Group and vice mayor of Xiamen Municipal People's Government, party committee secretary, director-general and inspector-general of Xiamen Municipal Public Security Bureau, deputy secretary of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Political and Legal Committee.
Responsibilities
Chen is responsible for work related to public security, judiciary, national defense mobilization, public complaints, arbitration, law-based government construction and government system security.
Chen oversees Municipal Bureau of Public Security, Municipal Bureau of Justice, Municipal National Defense Mobilization Office (Municipal Office of Civil Air Defense), Bureau for Letters and Calls, Office for Combating Smuggling, and Arbitration Commission.
Chen is in charge of liaison with Commission for Political and Legal Committee of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, Office of the Commission for Law-based Governance under the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, Xiamen Cyberspace Administration, Confidential Correspondence and Secrets Protection of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, Xiamen Intermediate People’s Court, People's Procuratorate of Xiamen City, Xiamen Maritime Court, National Security Bureau, Xiamen Prison, and Xiang’an Prison.
